Job Summary
Corporate Account Manager responsible for profitable, efficient management of automotive manufacturing, suppliers, and logistics client accounts. Drive account profitability, develop automotive logistics strategies (JIT/JIS/production-driven), ensure safety and quality standards across transport, warehousing, sequencing, and distribution, and coordinate with internal teams to execute solutions. Lead QBRs, negotiate contracts and SLAs, support business development through cross-selling and upselling automotive logistics services, monitor performance metrics (on-time delivery, freight cost, dock-to-dock cycle time, service quality), and ensure billing accuracy and compliance with DOT and automotive quality standards. Requires collaboration across finance, operations, and engineering, plus strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills and experience with TMS/WMS/CRM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, automotive logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations required
- Proven success managing client relationships within an automotive, logistics, or manufacturing-driven environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret logistics and transportation data to support operational decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
