Job Summary
Software Engineer II at JPMorganChase in an agile team responsible for enhancing, designing, and delivering secure, scalable software components. Executes standard software solutions, writes secure and high-quality code in at least one programming language with limited guidance, and applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation. Collaborates to analyze large data sets, learns system processes and methodologies, and contributes to a culture of diversity and inclusion. The role emphasizes developing secure, stable code and systems throughout the software development life cycle, with exposure to modern front-end technologies and cloud-related activities.
Required Qualifications

- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
- Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
