Job Summary

Diagnose and manage corneal, external eye, and related ophthalmic conditions while providing comprehensive evaluations and longitudinal patient management. Maintain a practice mix of approximately 60% corneal ophthalmology and 40% general ophthalmology, developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Utilize modern diagnostic and procedural technology to handle preoperative and postoperative care, collaborating effectively with ophthalmologists, technicians, and nurses. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and recovery, while maintaining accurate medical documentation and participating in quality, patient-safety, and practice-development initiatives. Join a supportive, physician-led team in Clovis, California, with a balanced schedule offering one day off every other week.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency
  • Completion of Cornea fellowship training
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Current California physician license or eligibility to obtain California licensure
  • Strong clinical expertise in corneal disease and comprehensive ophthalmology
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary Ophthalmology team
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered ophthalmic care
  • Ability to practice onsite in Clovis, California
