Job Summary
Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing integrated with production lines. Perform manual assembly using light hand tools such as tape measures, calipers, and grinders while reading technical diagrams for assembly of products, systems, and panels. Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process and operate within standard operating procedures. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety guidelines while using required PPE like safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes. Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs, including occasional climbing of stairs and ladders. Work onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility during the 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools
- Ability to safely use a ladder
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Physical endurance
- Technical proficiency
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards
- Frequent use of computers for data entry, monitoring, and communication
- Technical skills and adherence to safety protocols
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes
