Job Summary
Deliver warm, genuine hospitality and make every guest feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. Prep and serve fresh food with speed and precision, ensuring great taste, portions, and presentation while building accurate, high-quality orders that meet Sweetgreen's standards. Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized to support smooth service and strong flow, following food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols to protect guest trust and team standards. Work seamlessly with teammates to balance prep, service, and restocking, especially during busy shifts. This role requires lifting items up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, and navigating stairs or ramps. Minimum 12 hours per week availability is required for team members 18 years or older authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week
- Lifting: Routinely handling items up to 5-25 lbs and occasionally handling items 40-50 lbs
- Bending: For accessing low areas and handling items
- Reaching: For accessing high areas and handling items, includes building salads and restocking ingredients
- Standing/Walking: Extended periods, including moving between areas
- Squatting: For accessing low areas and handling items
- Pulling: Managing tasks that require pulling items or equipment
- Manual Dexterity: Typing, interacting with systems, handling tools (knives, thermometers, POS systems), and managing cleaning tools
- Physical Mobility: Navigating stairs, doors, ramps, elevators, and using equipment
- Physical Endurance: Maintaining energy and efficiency through long shifts and peak periods
- Coordination: Balance, multitasking, and handling bulky items or equipment in tight spaces
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
