Job Summary
Instruct students from 5th through 12th grade in logic and rhetoric using classical pedagogy and the CDA Curriculum. Create lesson plans based on The Seven Laws of Teaching, prepare presentations and handouts, and evaluate class work while managing student behavior. Communicate regularly with administration and parents using the University-Model TM approach, record attendance, and participate in faculty and district meetings. Complete the Teacher Certification Program and pursue additional continuing education. This role supports the mission of training ethical servant-leaders and wise thinkers who will shape culture for the glory of God.
Required Qualifications
- Profess the historic Christian faith
- Subscribe to the Nicene Creed
- Profess to be a Christian believer
- Subscribe to the statement of faith
- Be actively involved in a local church
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of children
