Core Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Administer, configure, and maintain the KeyStone core banking platform across production, test, and validation environments while managing user access, security roles, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows; develop testing plans for integrations and enhancements; and troubleshoot application issues, batch jobs, and interface errors. Manage the core systems helpdesk queue from intake through resolution, partner with vendors to resolve technical challenges, and maintain thorough documentation for configurations and operational procedures. Provide ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support business intelligence needs, identify workflow improvements, and ensure audit readiness. Remain flexible to contribute across IT initiatives as business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of experience in an Information Technology, application administration, banking operations technology, hosted application, vendor-managed system, or core systems support environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of KeyStone is required, including experience supporting configuration, user access, operational workflows, reporting, integrations, release-note review, testing, vendor coordination, and issue resolution
  • Experience working within a regulated financial institution or similarly controlled environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot integrations, automated processes, application issues, data imports and exports, and vendor-managed systems
  • Ability and willingness to develop SQL query and reporting expertise to support automation, troubleshooting, data validation, operational reporting, ad hoc analysis, and business intelligence needs
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to document procedures, coordinate testing, train end users, and successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, organization, and customer-service focus
  • Periodic on-site work may be required for testing, vendor coordination, business-unit support, disaster recovery activities, project work, or other operational needs
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for system maintenance, upgrades, urgent support issues, testing windows, or project deadlines
