Job Summary
Perform daily processes for ITM fund accounting, including subscription and redemption workflows with distributors, NAV issuances to distributions, and fund financial closing. Oversee outsourced operations and prepare monthly reports for the Investment Trusts Association of Japan and the Bank of Japan. Respond to inquiries from trustees and external auditors regarding fund statements while supporting new fund launches and process improvement initiatives. This hybrid role involves reporting to the ITM Fund Account team manager in Japan and interacting with key stakeholders across client, investment, and trust banking functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Experience in operations within an asset management company
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ITM Fund Accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with the asset management industry, including relevant regulations and industry association rules
- Advanced knowledge of T-Star/TXNative Japanese and English language skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to leverage AI enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or similar enterprise AI solutions) and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce operational risk, analysis and decision making
