Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end back office control function for TFO, owning daily reconciliation oversight, exception management, and break investigation across positions, cash, transactions, tax lots, P&L, and investment data domains. Drive root-cause analysis and partner with Middle Office, Corporate Actions, Treasury, Performance, Fund Accounting, Technology, and external providers to eliminate repeat breaks and strengthen the operating model. Oversee outsourced service providers through governance, KPI/SLA management, and integration into the new IBOR operating model. Design and implement IBOR reconciliation controls, establish consistent standards for daily reconciliations, and develop executive-level metrics for senior management. Coordinate investment data handoffs to Fund Accounting and define target-state workflows with technology teams to support migration to the future IBOR platform. Build a scalable Core Operations team by defining roles, building capabilities, and setting operating standards.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in back office and reconciliations within asset management or investment banking
- Deep experience across multiple asset classes, including derivatives (OTC and listed), fixed income, and cash products
- Strong understanding of IBOR transactions and impacts to cash, positions, P&L, performance, and fund accounting
- Demonstrated experience defining or governing operating models and control frameworks
- Proven ability to partner with Technology teams on workflow design, testing, and platform transformations
- Effective communication and management skills
