Core Lab Supervisor/Full-Time/3rd Shift/Rosemont

Directs core laboratory operations on the 3rd shift, collaborating with pathologists and clinical/administrative leadership to ensure laboratory services support enterprise objectives. Oversees efficient operations, maintains competency across test systems, serves as competency assessor and SME, and drives performance-improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, teammate engagement, and physician satisfaction. Plans and implements standards and systems to improve quality, consistency, efficiency, and timeliness; fosters innovation; ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting agencies; maintains inspection readiness; develops and maintains effective communication; collaborates with leadership to deliver excellent customer service; accountable for test result accuracy, staffing, and resource utilization; selects, coaches, and develops staff; sets expectations and administers progressive discipline when needed; supports ethical conduct and adherence to organizational policies.
