Job Summary
Develop and maintain Java/Spring-based applications and microservices, with cloud and container experience (Azure, AKS/K8s). Design, implement, and unit test software while adhering to established standards. Participate in agile processes (daily scrum, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives), perform peer design/code reviews, and evaluate development tools. Demonstrate OO design skills and familiarity with GOF/J2EE design patterns; ensure code quality through unit testing (JUnit/TestNG) and potentially BDD; work across the full SDLC from inception to deployment. Prefer a candidate with full-stack capabilities (Vue) and experience with CI/CD pipelines (AzDO) and cloud/devops practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Spring
- 2+ years of experience in Microservices
- Java-5+ yrs
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG
- Familiarity with SDLC - inception to deployment
- Demonstrated OO design skills and familiarity with GOF/J2EE design patterns
