Core Java Backend Developer

Job Summary
Senior Core Java Backend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. Candidate will implement trunk-based development practices to enable CI and rapid delivery, follow SOLID principles, and ensure high test coverage through TDD/BDD. The role emphasizes hands-on coding, code reviews, and refactoring to uphold engineering standards, while promoting Agile/DevOps practices, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and continuous monitoring. Collaboration with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams is required to design scalable distributed systems, mentor junior engineers, and drive secure coding and production readiness (observability, performance tuning, and vulnerability assessments). Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 8-12 years of experience in software development and strong experience in Java and/or Python, cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker), and modern software architectures.
Required Qualifications

- 8-12 years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, or modern programming languages
- Deep expertise in system design and microservices architecture
- Experience with trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery
- Proficiency in TDD, BDD, and automation-first mindset
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with secure coding and vulnerability assessments
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems
