Job Summary
Develop and maintain the curriculum, lecture series, and rotations for the integrated Family Medicine, OB/GYN, and Psychiatry fellowship program. Foster a supportive learning environment by providing teaching through lectures, workshops, simulation, and bedside precepting while serving as a faculty advisor on wellness and evaluation. Manage fellow recruitment, orientation, selection, and ongoing feedback processes in compliance with Board of Certification in Family Medicine Obstetrics requirements. Participate in program administration, clinical competency committees, and scholarly activities to advance rural maternal health care. Engage in clinical practice and relationship-building with community partners and training sites.
Required Qualifications
- Required completion of family medicine OR OB/GYN residency training
- MN Licensure or licensure eligibility
- Board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board certification by American Board of Family Medicine or by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians; paired with certification by the Board of Family Medicine Obstetrics
- Required to be an active member of the (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) ACOG or AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians)
- ACLS
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred three years experience as a physician practicing maternity care with C-sections
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Preferred Fellowship training in Faculty Development
