Job Summary
As a Copywriter at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will create impactful marketing communications across various channels, working collaboratively with a team of marketing professionals. This role requires strong creative writing skills for campaign concepts as well as technical writing for product details. A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in marketing writing. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional writing abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to translate complex scientific themes into engaging customer-focused content.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years’ related marketing writing experience that includes creative concepting.
- Exceptional writing skills demonstrating excellent knowledge of grammar, keen attention to detail, and strong story construction skills.
- Ability to understand complex, abstract science-based subjects and express them in a straightforward, consumer-friendly way.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrable proficiency or comfort level working with material of a highly technical or scientific nature.
- Proven experience in writing both creative and technically oriented copy for marketing collateral.
- Solid presentation skills and ability to respond positively to critical feedback.
- Substantial understanding of marketing and branding principles.
