Job Summary
Senior Lead Consultant role in air quality compliance and permitting within Ramboll's Environment & Health Division. Responsible for reviewing/regulatory interpretation of air quality regulations, leading deliverables for clients, preparing air emission estimates, air dispersion modeling, and completing EPCRA Tier II/TRI reporting. Collaborates across teams, mentors junior staff, and supports client relationships with a focus on efficient, compliant solutions. Requires 7+ years of air quality experience and a B.S./M.S. in a related engineering or science discipline, with strong computing and communication skills. Location options include Albany, Syracuse, or Rochester, NY with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline (air quality course work is a plus)
- 7+ years of air quality related experience
- Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
- Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
- Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations
