Copy of Real Estate Development Paralegal

Conduct real estate due diligence for potential development sites by analyzing property records, including liens, judgments, easements, leases, mineral rights, and surveys. Review legal descriptions, vesting, encumbrances, and title policies to identify exceptions and negotiate curatives with title insurance companies. Coordinate with internal and external partners, including legal counsel and escrow, to resolve title issues and prepare documentation for property and project finance closings. Maintain detailed records and organize project files throughout the lifecycle from ordering titles to closing. This onsite role in our NYC office supports the legal and development teams to establish site control for renewable energy projects, ensuring smooth and compliant project advancement.
