Job Summary
Conduct individual and family counseling sessions tailored to adolescent clients while monitoring safety continuously and developing effective safety plans. Maintain clinical documentation standards per Joint Commission requirements and communicate progress updates to the interdisciplinary team. Deliver therapy compliant with designated levels of care, engage with referral sources post-admission, and facilitate group therapy including alumni and multi-family sessions. Collaborate actively on discharge planning and serve as a role model for clients and staff. This fully on-site role requires a Master's degree, licensure as an MFT, Psychologist, or Social Worker, and one year of mental health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible as an MFT, Clinical Psychologist, or Social Worker
- 1 year in the mental health field
- Comfortable with basic computer operations and maintaining strict confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance on agency vehicles
- Current First-Aid & CPR Certifications
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- Licensed Psychologist Credentials
