Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications, manage inventory, verify prescription information, provide excellent customer service, maintain records and support billing/data entry in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Valid pharmacy technician license or registration as required by state or local regulations
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication management systems
- Understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
