Job Summary
Maintenance Worker role supports parish maintenance by performing maintenance, light janitorial, and related tasks for care of buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include adhering to safety guidelines, performing basic maintenance and janitorial duties (mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows, painting, repairing wood furniture), grounds upkeep (irrigation checks, sweeping, pruning, debris removal), setting up/tearing down for parish events, minor repairs in plumbing/electrical/carpentry, installing and repairing furnishings, moving heavy items, recycling, inventory management, and coordinating with the Facilities Manager. Requires ability to operate gas/electric equipment, power tools, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain confidentiality; three years of related maintenance experience. Location: Carefree, AZ, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of work experience in minor repair work in carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing.
- Background in maintenance of grounds, buildings, parking lot or related profession.
- Successful work experience implementing a comprehensive cleaning plan for a facility, including sweeping, dusting, washing, waxing.
