Job Summary
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts, investigate historical data, and directly contact customers via email and phone to collect payments. Adopt clear collection practices to promote prompt payments, record accurate account notes, and report on collection activity while assisting with other finance tasks. Work independently but in tandem with the Senior Junior Collection Specialist, collaborating across departments to build strong relationships. This role requires overnight and day travel up to 5% of the time, with a standard 8am–5pm schedule in La Vista, NE. Success is measured by monthly collection goals and aged debt metrics within Turf Tank's Finance department.
Required Qualifications
- overnight travel is required up to 5% of the time
- day travel is required up to 5% of the time
- work in our La Vista NE office 5 days per week
- general work hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday – Friday
- must pass a background screen before start date
- physical requirements required of standard office environments
- high attention to detail
- strong Excel skills
- the capability to seamlessly navigate and work across multiple systems simultaneously
- 1-2 years of business-to-business collection experience
