Job Summary
Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, extract carpets, strip and wax floors, remove trash, recycle, clean and sanitize restrooms, polish entryways, wash windows, clear snow and ice, and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, glass, counters, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures. Perform these duties in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaining daily facility upkeep under the direction of the custodial supervisor. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, and reliable transportation. Available shifts include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and office hours; full-time and part-time options exist with weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Background check required
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pound on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree preferred but not required
- Previous cleaning experience a plus
- Excellent work history
- Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction
- Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
