Job Summary
Facility Maintenance Technician III responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of building plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including refrigeration and A/C units. Responsibilities include changing filters, cleaning coils and floor drains, changing light bulbs, painting and basic carpentry, performing PMs, assembling/disassembling systems furniture, removing/installing signs, repairing walls/windows, maintaining inventory/work orders, complying with OSHA/Safety/PPE, using CMMS for work orders, communicating via company radio, on-call availability, and supporting external service personnel. Must train others, have HS diploma or equivalent with 2 years of vocational training in relevant trades, obtain a skilled-trade certification, hold a valid driver’s license, pass FAA background check and drug test, and reside within 30 minutes of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. Shift: 1st shift 6-2:30pm, Charlotte, NC location; benefits include PTO, 401(k), health/dental/vision/Life insurance, referral program, and educational reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of vocational training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC or plumbing or any combination
- Must possess a specific certification in a skilled trade or system
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a Federal Aviation Administration background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Lives within a 30-min drive to the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport
- Experience performing Preventative Maintenance (PMs) on equipment
