Job Summary
Conduct interior and exterior patrols while serving as a visible, trusted security presence for students and staff. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies while maintaining strong communication and de-escalation standards. Prepare accurate and timely incident and daily activity reports. Partner closely with school administrators and local law enforcement to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and accountability. This role requires an active Texas DPS Level III Commissioned License, 21+ years of age, and proficiency in firearm handling and safety. Candidates must work all shifts, including weekends or holidays, and maintain a clean-cut, professional appearance. Stable, long-term school assignments are available with pay ranging from $17.50 to $19.50 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas DPS Level III Commissioned License
- 21+ years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Reliable transportation and a working mobile phone
- Strong firearm handling and safety proficiency
- Ability to pass background screening and physical fitness assessment
- Strong writing, communication, and observation skills
- Ability to work independently with professionalism and integrity
- Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
- Must maintain a clean-cut, professional appearance
- Ability to walk, stand, run, climb, or sit for extended periods
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
