Job Summary
Delivery/Pick-up, loading cargo, inspection and administrative duties in a Buffalo-area CDL Driver/Warehouse Worker role. Responsibilities include safe operation of the vehicle, pre-trip inspections, ensuring cargo is secured, invoicing accuracy, DOT paperwork, and warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking, and packaging for shipment. Requires a valid NYS CDL A or B license, DOT Medical Certification, FMCSA Clearinghouse knowledge, and strong basic math and ERP skills. Schedule Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm with route-based variability; Safety Sensitive position.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NY State CDL A or B driver’s license required.
- Obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification.
- Valid Real ID or eligible identification proof may be mandatory based on customer requirements for specific delivery territories.
- Registration on FMCSA Clearinghouse and knowledge of State/Federal transport regulations.
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalent strongly preferred.
- Competent driving skills with one year of driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicles and all their parts.
- Mathematical ability to sort, check, count, measure, and verify numbers and or product shipped or received.
- Demonstrated computer skills in the use of the company ERP System as required.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment after training.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and perform math calculations.
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
- Contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all assigned duties in a professional, timely and accurate manner.
