Job Summary
As a Server in Cogir Senior Living's community restaurant, deliver exceptional dining experiences to senior residents by providing friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events. Ensure residents' dietary needs and preferences are met while fostering a welcoming dining environment. Greet residents and guests, take meal orders, deliver food and beverages promptly, and maintain cleanliness by preparing the dining room, clearing tables, and resetting for the next service. Communicate resident feedback to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff and comply with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards. Weekend shifts required; flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- A Food Handler Card with understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus
- 6-12 months of experience in a serving, hospitality, or customer service role is a plus
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
