Job Summary
Draft communications materials including press releases and key messages to support corporate milestones, while building working relationships with clients, media, and advisors. Proactively highlight opportunities and potential concerns for clients by delivering research, insight, and media monitoring that tracks analyst coverage, share price performance, and valuation. Manage media engagement on behalf of clients to shape company narratives for capital markets audiences, including equity story development, IPOs, M&A, and crisis management. Work within the TMT sector team in London to assist with new business efforts through pitch preparation and support for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Between six months and three years' experience
- Worked in a similar environment, potentially within a financial communications agency, or in roles related to public relations/investor relations, the capital markets, financial analysis, management consulting or the media
- Knowledge of and interest in financial communications, investor relations, and capital markets with their relevant different audiences - and how this differs from traditional corporate communications
- Basic knowledge of general business trends and stock markets and interest in current affairs
- Ability to grasp clients' business objectives and relevant wider industry dynamics
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
