Job Summary
Installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains, and repairs mechanical piping systems and equipment for Nash Plumbing & Mechanical projects; reads blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine layouts, dimensions, and materials; cuts and assembles pipes, valves, and fittings using brazing and soldering; installs pipe supports and equipment; inspects and tests for leaks; collaborates with other trades and supervisors to ensure timely project completion; adheres to safety policies and industry codes; maintains organized work area and documents work performed including materials used and hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as mechanical pipe installer
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience with different pipe joining methods (brazing, soldering, mechanical connections)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, confined spaces, heights)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
