Job Summary
Source and procure carrier services to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of customer freight across North America, 24/7/365. Negotiate with carriers to maximize load profitability while updating the TMS system with accurate carrier data. Monitor service providers to verify company and client requirements are met, and develop core carrier relationships to expand capacity. Facilitate problem resolution regarding claims, payments, and other business issues. Work closely with the Customer Service department and North American vendors, making quick decisions to optimize operations. Fluency in French and English is required. This role reports to the Operations Team Lead in our growing LaSalle office.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in French and English, oral and written
- Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
- Impressive negotiation skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Experience within a 3PL brokerage/transportation environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within a 3PL brokerage/transportation environment is an asset, but not required
