Planify and coordinate construction work under your responsibility with foremen, surveyors, superintendents, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors. Supervise the development of construction methods and procedures while adhering to health and safety requirements. Collaborate on project estimates and submissions, attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate technical questions and change requests to client representatives. Obtain necessary permits and authorizations, assist the superintendent with administrative and technical tasks, and verify material orders. Monitor workshop drawings and contractual documents, coordinate temporary works constructibility with engineers, update project schedules, and inspect the quality of temporary and permanent structures. Perform various site follow-up tasks. This role is based at the project office on Île d'Orléans Bridge and the construction site. Candidates require a civil engineering or construction engineering degree and relevant experience.
