Coordinator, Transfer Articulation - Transfer Relations

Job Summary
Maintain and update course-level transfer equivalencies in Banner, ensuring alignment with Common Course Numbering standards and institutional policy. Ensure consistency of articulation data across systems, published catalogs, and external tools by identifying and resolving discrepancies. Apply transfer policies to evaluate coursework, determine equivalencies, and support data-informed decision-making through auditing and trend analysis. Provide operational support for transfer processes, including Pre-Transfer Credit Evaluations, shared inbox management, and regional outreach events. Coordinate with academic departments, Registrar, and external partners to resolve issues and update articulation frameworks. This role supports the Office of Transfer Relations at the University of Wyoming, a leader in academics and research in Laramie.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years work-related experience
- Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP
- Eligible to work in the United States
- No sponsorship for H-1B work authorization or work visa available
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years work related experience (in academic affairs, registrar, admissions, advising, or a related higher education setting, with direct experience in transfer credit evaluation, articulation, or curriculum-related processes)
- Experience includes use of a student information system (Banner preferred), data management and analysis (including Excel or similar tools), and application of academic policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience working with faculty, academic departments, and student services units
- Knowledge of transfer practices, articulation frameworks, and higher education regulatory or accreditation environments is preferred
