Job Summary
Support students in achieving post-secondary success through college readiness, academic planning, mentoring coordination, and intervention services. Develop individualized post-secondary success plans focused on graduation, enrollment, and credential attainment while assisting with SAT/ACT preparation, college applications, and FAFSA completion. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate college readiness workshops, outreach activities, and educational events to increase engagement and knowledge of program services. Monitor student academic performance, attendance, and behavior, identifying barriers to success and providing appropriate interventions through collaboration with mentors, school staff, and community partners. Document and maintain accurate student records, including success plans, progress updates, and program participation data. Assist with marketing efforts, website updates, social media content, and text messaging platform management. Collect, track, and report program outputs, outcomes, and participant data while maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FIPA, PHI, and PII requirements. Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support program goals and student achievement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- One year of experience in working with high school students
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office
- Customer service skills and experience
- Ability to edit, complete, and assemble reports
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both written and orally
- Ability to utilize organizational skills effectively
- Must have access to a private, secure, and stable high-speed internet connection
- Must have access to a quiet, confidential workspace
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Reliable transportation
- Frequent travel to multiple locations in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to approximately 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel
- Ability to type using a keyboard
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work with integrity and ethics
- Ability to use sound judgement
