Job Summary
Coordinate and support the sales team by handling order processing, invoicing, pricing communications, and customer service to maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Assist Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers with multiple sales-process tasks, maintain customer files, resolve credit/collection issues with the accounting department, and coordinate transportation needs for assigned retail, wholesale, and/or foodservice accounts. Requires proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently while upholding confidentiality. A self-starter mindset with the ability to learn produce market conditions and effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School or better
- Up to 2 years of related work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Detail-oriented and customer-focused
- Experience handling order processing, invoicing, pricing, and credit/collections
