Job Summary
Coordinate and support the administrative and value adjustment board process for ad-valorem appraisal purposes. Responsibilities include quality control assistance, project support (permits, residential teams), TRIM-season scheduling and constituent service, managing the residential booking calendar, updating manuals, coordinating supplies and uniforms, liaising with Legal on hearings, preparing and mailing residential evidence letters, ensuring proper documentation in the Axia Appeal System and CAT, facilitating communications with multiple departments, and performing additional administrative duties as needed. Requires strong organization, deadlines management, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Substitution: High school diploma or possession of GED equivalent and two years of work experience directly related to the position duties.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat; ability to create and edit PDFs and fillable forms.
- Experience with database/software (Axia Appeal System, CAT) and project/contract management software.
- Strong telephone and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects under minimal supervision.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
