Job Summary
Coordinate district-wide intramural sports, sport clubs, and recreational programming across Broward College campuses under the supervision of the Senior Director. Administer daily operations for leagues, tournaments, and special events while supporting student leaders with scheduling, compliance, and program oversight. Manage facility scheduling, equipment coordination, and travel logistics to ensure safe, inclusive environments. Recruit, train, and supervise student employees, referees, and officials; assist with participant engagement and promotional outreach. Collect participation data, evaluate programs, and collaborate with campus departments to implement initiatives. Travel regularly between campuses and other locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Four years of experience in recreation, intramural sports, sport clubs, student activities, campus programming, or related fields
- Ability to travel regularly between Broward College campuses to support district-wide programming, sport clubs, and events
- Travel to other colleges, conferences, and sports facilities may be required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support recreational events, club activities, and student programs in indoor and outdoor settings
- Advanced knowledge of computerized systems and operating environments i.e. Microsoft Office Products and specialized computer systems
- Ability to contribute in multiple related areas within the function
- Expertise in understanding and following project plans, including the coordination of multiple resources and activities
- Understanding of and ability to coordinate interdependencies of work within the area and of resources from outside the area
- Ability to exchange information with individuals and collaborate and colleagues within the College as well as presentation skills
- General understanding of College's structure, policies and practices, and the impact on own area
- Proficiency in professional and functional standards and protocols of position

- Experience with event coordination, recreational programming, student development, or club sports administration
