Job Summary
Coordinator - Proposals role focused on maintaining day-to-day sales with existing customers, quoting, obtaining and generating orders, and managing large sales datasets related to Sourcing, Catalog, Supplier, Inventory and Project Management. Responsibilities include obtaining orders via email/phone, entering items, communicating delivery dates and stock-outs, reviewing open order reports, expediting items, compiling and analyzing historical sales data to forecast demand, maintaining pricing information, and contributing to KPI-driven solutions and tools. Requires an Associates’ degree (Bachelor’s preferred), 2-4 years in sales/sales administration, strong Excel skills, B2B supply chain knowledge (MRO, Inventory, VMI, Pricing), and excellent communication. Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Associates’ degree required
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred
- 2-4 years experience in sales and sales administration
- Knowledge of B2B Supply Chain including MRO, Inventory, VMI, Pricing
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to identify and define potential problems and propose solutions
