Coordinator, Project (Solar)

Solar Project Coordinator at Aecon supports execution of commercial solar projects by controlling the flow of project information across engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. The role maintains project schedules, tracks milestones and deliverables, manages project documentation and submission logs, monitors material status, and supports the Project Manager to keep design, procurement, construction, and turnover moving. It requires coordination between office and site with site teams to ensure current drawings, materials, and information are available to perform work, and involves coordinating with site supervisors, electricians, racking crews, crane operators, and specialty trades to align work with the plan. Documentation control, procurement tracking, and clear status reporting are essential, along with the ability to read drawings, submittals, permits, RFIs, and turnover records, and to navigate Ontario ESA/EASR interconnection requirements.
