Coordinator, Project

Job Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for estimating costs for labor, equipment, and materials for underground utilities in new development projects, coordinating contract administration, procurement, and invoicing functions. Key responsibilities include providing project analysis to the Manager of Operations, tracking productivity and costs, performing quantity take-offs from construction drawings, creating progress invoicing, and maintaining project files. Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent, alongside at least 2 years of construction experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in essential software tools.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from the Civil Engineering/Technologist/Construction Management programs or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry in a similar role
- Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents
- Sound computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project
- Strong communication skills – oral and written
- Self motivated with good organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Willing to travel as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the utility industry
- Experience with SAP
