Coordinator, Precertification – Corporate Patient Access: coordinates with home care, clinical staff and insurance companies to obtain authorizations for home health and hospice admissions; enters patient insurance authorizations into the patient account history; documents insurance coverage; notifies case management of interactions with insurers; communicates with clinical staff to coordinate staff visits; informs changes in insurance coverage to office and clinical staff; manages denials or potential denials; monitors schedule to ensure authorization and initial length of stay are obtained and on file; proficient use of online portals and strong communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
