Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day support for the Central States Regional Offices and assist with political engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting political giving data, conducting research on congressional races, creating and analyzing Salesforce reports, and delivering political information to activists. Manage events with political leaders via the AIPAC PAC portal, coordinate logistics for lay leaders lobbying meetings and Meet & Greets with Members of Congress, plan recruitment for regional political events, assist with scheduling donor, candidate, and lobbying meetings, track legislative actions, and support mobilization activities by sending targeted Action Alerts. Create PowerPoint presentations and maintain constituency databases; perform other administrative duties for the regional political team. Requires strong writing/communication skills, event planning experience, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and self-starting work ethic. Remote work is available two days per week with three days in the Chicago offices; salary range is $50,000-$65,000 and benefits are provided. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for a strong U.S. – Israel relationship is a must.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience with planning and executing events.
- Experience on political campaigns or with elected official offices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail; excellent organizational and time planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter.
