Job Summary
Payroll Coordinator responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls and the efficient tracking and management of employee time and attendance within the university’s system; duties include processing wages and withholdings, promotions/transfers/terminations payroll adjustments, off-cycle checks, multi-state tax compliance, tax forms, tax status updates, direct deposit changes, overtime and timecard audits, payroll reporting, SOP development, answering payroll inquiries, coordinating with HR and timekeeping staff, and supporting audits and data analysis while maintaining confidentiality and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years payroll experience
- Experience with Workday Payroll or a similar system preferred
