Job Summary
Coordinator, Pass Permit Enrolment at GTAA, responsible for handling telephone inquiries and booking requests for the Pass/Permit Office, pre-screening online document submissions, reviewing documentation at the front desk for accuracy/completeness, and processing applications for pass/permit services. Requires high school diploma, 1-2 years of data processing in a client/service environment, strong customer service, attention to detail, knowledge of pass/permit issuance practices, ability to validate eligibility and maintain confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The role includes data cross-referencing, maintaining client accounts, and supporting audit/cost recovery activities; includes a recruitment test. Unionized Band 5 position, on-site in Toronto, ON, Canada, with an hourly wage of $40.17 based on a 30-hour or less work week.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data processing in a client/service-oriented environment
- High School Diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
- Ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills with ability to obtain a minimum keyboarding speed of 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Knowledge and skills in delivering exceptional customer service and handling high workloads
- Practical ability to use equipment and systems related to Pass/Permit issuance (RAPS, RAIC, scanners, cameras, AFIS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
