Job Summary
Coordinator at Kelly Club in Bundoora leading a team to design and run engaging Before School and After School programs for primary-aged children in a permanent part-time OSHC setting. Responsibilities include delivering activities across sport, creativity, and exploration, creating an inclusive environment for children and families, attending school events and partnership meetings, managing health needs and behavior plans, maintaining regular family communication, ensuring risk management and regulatory compliance, developing and updating the service’s Strategic Inclusion Plan and Quality Improvement Plan, training and mentoring staff, participating in collaboration and training sessions, and supporting children with routine tasks and daily operations. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Education or related field, a valid Working with Children Check, current First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma training, child protection training, and familiarity with the My Time Our Place framework and National Regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Education, Early Childhood, or ACECQA recognised qualification like Youth Work, Community Services or Primary/Secondary Education
- Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willing to obtain)
- Child protection training and strong knowledge of child safe standards
- Familiarity with My Time, Our Place framework and National Regulations
