Coordinator of Student Life

Coordinate and expand Nevada State University’s student life offerings by collaborating with 35+ clubs/organizations, supporting campus recreation events, and driving student involvement. Plan and execute Alternative Break trips, oversee large-scale campus-wide events, manage the Student Engagement Platform (Campus Groups), supervise the Student Life Assistant Student Workers, and administer the Scorpion Den reservation system (25Live). Provide advisement and mentorship to student leaders, and contribute to campus-wide, student-focused initiatives through committees. This role supports the Associate Director of Student Life and aims to increase participation and sustain engagement opportunities for a diverse student population, including efforts to train and resource student organizations and to assist in creating new organizations. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, at least two years of related experience, strong relationship-building and communication abilities, coaching/mentoring capability, and understanding of event planning and higher education budgets; eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and knowledge of student development theories. Salary budgeted at $61,553.00 with comprehensive benefits.”,
