Job Summary
Coordinator of Specialized Instruction (Design) leads instructional design, professional learning, and data-informed supports to improve outcomes for students with disabilities; designs and evaluates inclusive instructional frameworks, intervention resources, and co-teaching models; collaborates with curriculum leaders, school leaders, and external partners to strengthen educator understanding and implementation of district instructional expectations for diverse learners.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Special Education, or General Education with a teaching certificate in Special Education (specialist degree preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience in Special Education
- GaPSC certification at level 5 or higher in Special Education or related field
- Tier I Leadership certification (or obtain within two years)
