Job Summary
Plan, organize, and participate in special activities and trips for individuals with developmental disabilities at Abbott House. Develop recreation and self-advocacy programs while establishing links with community-based facilities and providers. Provide direct supervision of individuals and staff during activities, assessing each person's ability to participate and required supervision levels. Ensure health, safety, and well-being of participants while assuring compliance with all OPWDD regulations. Coordinate staffing, supplies, transportation, expenses, and timecards for these activities. Maintain regular contact with residential staff, families, and professionals regarding program issues. Adhere to and monitor all regulatory requirements associated with recreation and self-advocacy activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree

- Experience using an electronic health care system to review and manage data
