Job Summary
Verify clinical sites and preceptors, obtain affiliation agreements, and ensure student compliance with health data requirements. Coordinate clinical placements for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy students by managing onboarding processes, tracking documentation, and maintaining accurate records of site information and educator details. Generate reports for accreditation and assessment purposes while serving as a liaison between academic programs, university offices, and external partners. Monitor student adherence to program requirements and communicate deadlines and site expectations to students and faculty.
Required Qualifications
- Must demonstrate an understanding the Walsh University Statement of Faith and a commitment to support the Mission, Vision, Values and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae and the Catholic intellectual tradition
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent education OR an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technology and software systems used to manage records, data, and compliance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners
- Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism
- Professional demeanor, critical thinking, and ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and clinical partners
- Positive and collaborative attitude a must
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in administrative support, healthcare education, higher education, clinical settings, or a related environment preferred
- Experience supporting academic programs, clinical education, or fieldwork coordination
- Familiarity with healthcare or allied health education environments
- Experience working with data tracking, record management, or compliance related processes
