Job Summary
Lead and coordinate K-12 health, wellness, and physical education within the school division; design and deliver professional learning and coaching for educators; chair curriculum committees; integrate wellness, HPE, and driver education with the overall curriculum; support teachers and administrators, develop and review budgets and grants, and ensure compliance with division policies. Provide professional development opportunities, data-driven instruction, and collaboration across learning communities to improve instruction and student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health and Physical Education or related field
- Five (5) years of classroom experience
- Hold a Virginia Collegiate Professional license with an endorsement in Health and Physical Education and be eligible for a Postgraduate Professional license
