Job Summary
Leads district elementary curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning initiatives; coordinates curriculum review, adoption, and implementation for PreK–5; analyzes student performance data to guide instructional improvements; oversees district professional development, onboarding for new teachers, and collaboration with instructional coaches; liaises with the NC Department of Public Instruction and other agencies on assigned programs; supports literacy, MTSS, Read to Achieve, and other elementary initiatives; participates in budget development, grant-funded program oversight, and district strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional coaching, professional learning, or educational leadership preferred
- Experience in elementary education required
- North Carolina educator licensure required
