Job Summary
Coordinator of Elementary Curriculum & Instruction leads, coordinates, and supports the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of elementary curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning initiatives; collaborates with district personnel to promote high-quality instructional practices, aligns with state standards, and improves student achievement for PreK–5; oversees curriculum review, adoption, and implementation; supports professional learning for teachers and staff; analyzes student performance data to drive instructional improvements; coordinates grant-funded and special instructional programs; and serves as liaison with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, with responsibilities across MTSS, literacy, mathematics, and related elementary initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or related field
- North Carolina educator licensure required
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional coaching, professional learning, or educational leadership preferred
- Experience in elementary education required
