Job Summary
Coordinate Vacation Bible School, family formation programs, and youth ministry initiatives including registration, volunteer recruitment, training, and program implementation. Plan and execute events such as catechesis retreats, sacramental preparation, and at-home faith formation curricula while managing logistical needs for facilities, supplies, and hospitality. Recruit, train, and support volunteers across assigned ministries, maintain participant records in accordance with diocesan policies, and respond to ministry inquiries. Collaborate with parish staff, school leaders, and the Strategic Marketing Specialist to promote discipleship opportunities and ensure all activities align with Catholic Church teachings. Work evenings and weekends with a varied schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Active member of a Roman Catholic Parish and in good standing with the Church
- Must be willing and able to support the mission of the Church, the Pastor, the Parish, and the Diocese of Phoenix
- Possess strong knowledge of Catholic teaching and practice
- Must be a self-starter who is able to take initiative in fulfilling tasks

- Willing to work evenings as weekends with a varied schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in ministry leadership, catechesis, faith formation, event planning, or volunteer coordination
- Public speaking experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and parish database systems
